Welcome

This web site is a public repository of my professional interests. This currently consists of a list of publications.

I am the CTO at ResFrac Corporation. We make a cloud-based integrated hydrualic-fracture-and-reservoir simulator for the petroleum and geothermal industries. In addition to licensing the simulator to operators and service companies, we provide professional services based on using the simulator to conduct hydraulic fracturing and reservoir studies. We publish a fair amount, often in connection to our services work, and in the two industry studies we organized previously on parent-child interactions (2021-2022) and diagnostic fracture injection test (DFIT) analysis (2019).

I lived in China in 2015-2016 while working for a U.S. oil and gas data services company. During my time there, I kept a personal blog.

Scholarly contributions of Charles A. Kang

This post lists my scholarly contributions. Where allowed by copyright law, I have provided links to full texts. Two alternative ways of getting these lists are Google Scholar (no full texts) and ResearchGate (requires registration).

I had previously hosted a version of this list on my university web site, but my account expired after I graduated.
